With Chapter 4 of our “Honor Series,” I would like to shine our bright spotlight on 1st Lieutenant Robert Howard.

If you have been keeping up with my articles so far, you may have noticed that it is very easy for me to get a wee bit wordy. To be honest, I don’t think enough can be said about these individuals and organizations.

However, this time, I was directed to a video for Lieutenant Robert Howard. You see, sometimes the written word is not enough.

Lt. Howard is the only soldier to have been nominated for the Medal Of Honor three times.

And all three occurred within a 13 month period of time during his tours in Vietnam.

In this outstanding video, you will hear from the man himself as well as an engaging narrative about the history of the man and his actions.

When you wish to define grit, courage and determination, the image of Mr. Howard will forever be in your mind.

I encourage you all to take 10 minutes out of your Monday to honor 1st Lt. Robert Howard by watching this video.

Thank you all again for taking time to help honor these and all of our heroes as we approach this Memorial Day and our Murph Challenge. When Murph the workout gets hard, remember these stories and find something inside that maybe you’ve always had.
